oaklandcountymdot 5 Nov, 2025 Westbound I-696, ramps closed from I-75 to M-10 starting Nov. 14 for traffic shift in Oakland County SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – As the newly rebuilt eastbound I-696 lanes from M-10 to I-75 get closer to completion, crews are planning to switch westbound I-696 traffic from I-75 to M-10 over to the eastbound side in order to rebuild the westbound lanes. This traffic switch will limit the entrance/exit ramps available for westbound traffic. This work is weather dependent, and if delayed, would occur the following weekend.
