SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be closing westbound I-696 from I-75 to Lahser Road overnight Friday, Feb. 21, and Saturday, Feb. 22, for preparation work in anticipation of the project beginning on March 1. Beginning 10 p.m. Friday, Feb.
